Stephanie Sanders

Chartered Legal Executive

My goal is to help vulnerable people who have experienced clinical negligence by achieving a successful outcome in their claim and getting the financial compensation that they need. I am very passionate about the work that I do, and it is an honour to represent people through such a difficult time in their life.

Get to know Stephanie

I joined Slater & Gordon in 2021 and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2020. I work in the Cardiff Office.

I manage a varied caseload of pre and post litigated clinical negligence claims including delay in diagnosis, orthopaedic injuries, oncology, ophthalmology, stillbirth and birthing injuries, general surgery, infection and fatal claims.

Career highlights

The highlight of my career is achieving justice for my clients and successfully settling their claims including a claim where my client was unable to walk following a negligent and avoidable fall whilst being an inpatient in hospital for brain haemorrhage. I am privileged to work on a range of claims and be able to consider all of my client’s future financial and practical needs. No amount of compensation can change what has happened to them, however, I feel fortunate to assist them in their journey to a quality and fulfilled life following medical negligence.

The extra mile

I have taken part in many fundraising and charity events for Cerebral Palsy, Group B Strep Support and Headway.
