Get to know Jennifer

I am a Senior Associate Solicitor and Acting Team Lead at Slater and Gordon. I qualified as a Solicitor in 2006. I have been entrusted for many years by families to bring clinical negligence claims and support individuals through vulnerable times in their life when they seek answers, access to rehabilitation and accountability.

Media coverage of my cases includes:

• “Warwick hospital in payout to family of brain damaged boy” (newspaper coverage of a multi million pound care package/ settlement I secured for a child with cerebral palsy cause by brain injury at birth).
• “Delay in diagnosing bleed on the brain” I appeared on BBC News with my clients who had lost their mother due a delay in diagnosing a fatal bleed on the brain.
• “Surgeon allowed to work despite inquiry into 10 deaths” (coverage of several cases I had against a colorectal surgeon who was struck off).
• “Contraceptive Failures: Implanon” (coverage of failures with contraceptive devices. I had several cases which had resulted in unplanned pregnancies in families with genetic disorders or inheritable conditions).

The extra mile

I am a passionate advocate for improved services for children with additional needs and/or disabilities and their carers. I have campaigned successfully for funding to SEN schools on radio, TV and newspapers and contributed to local policy in this area.
