After 30 years of doing this job, I can say it’s the most interesting and rewarding of roles. Helping people in incredibly difficult and sad situations to secure support, independence and quality of life is very satisfying.
Career highlights
I have helped secure over £100 million in damages during my career for children and young adults with brain injury acquired at birth. Some of my reported cases include:

Recognition
I have been listed in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners as a 'leader in their field.' Formerly long term accreditation of The law Society Clinical Negligence Panel and the AVMA Panel.
I am an accredited mediator and member of The Court of Appeal Mediation Panel.
I have also won legal awards including; winner of the Clinical Negligence Team of The Year 2018- Northern Law Awards and winner of The Award for Outstanding Individual Contribution to Charity in the Northern Charity Awards 2017.
