Slater and Gordon collaborate with charity, ICUsteps, to create legal brochure

At Slater and Gordon, we pride ourselves on supporting charities with the legal advice they might require. One of which is ICUsteps, an intensive care patient charity. With an aim to support patients and relatives who are affected by critical illness, they also promote the recognition of physical and psychological consequences that critical illness has through education and encourage research into treatment and the prevention of these issues.

With our experience, we’re aware of the many legal difficulties individuals with critical illnesses and their families can go through and how complex they are to navigate. During this time, it can be confusing to know where to start, which is why as the start of an ongoing collaboration with ICUsteps, we have launched a brochure detailed with legal services and advice for those who are recovering from a critical illness, should you ever need it.

Within the brochure, it simplifies some common legal needs that recovering ICU patients and their families may encounter and explains what to do in several unique circumstances.
