Slater and Gordon welcomes leading serious injury duo, John Davis and Kate Nicklin

We're extremely pleased to announce the appointment of two leading lawyers to our serious injury team as we continue to expand specialist injury services.

John Davis and Kate Nicklin, who have more than 50 years’ combined experience helping people who've sustained a range of injuries, particularly brain and spinal cord injuries, join us from Newcastle-based Sintons Law Solicitors.

The pair work out of Slater and Gordon’s Manchester office as well as new base in Rotterdam House in Newcastle city centre to support clients in and around the North East region.

Consulting principal lawyer John, who was awarded an MBE in 2013 for work with a charity which supports brain injured children, said: “Slater and Gordon shares our vision of providing expertise for people with specialist needs.

Brain injury cases in particular can be extremely complex because the severity and extent of injuries aren’t always initially clear, so experience and insight are so important to achieving the best possible outcome for clients.

Kate and I have worked closely for more than 10 years and have built up a real depth of experience and complementary skills working with brain and spinal injury survivors, so it’s great that we are able to continue that work at Slater and Gordon.”
